Elstree University Technical College students returned with a spectacular end-of-year musical showcase, featuring musical numbers from a large variety of West End productions.
The performances, which took pace on July 18 and 19, had more than 100 EUTC students working on and off stage, all of whom were working towards atleast one or more BTEC qualifications on and off stage.
This week, budding filmmakers from a school are spending the week with the fire service creating an eye-opening film.

The Elstree Film Festival was run by the world famous Elstree Studios to congratulate pupils and teachers from across Hertsmere in taking place in the three week event.

A team of students have been announced as one of the finalists for the national Apps for Good Awards. The 15-year-old students from The Elstree UTC, in Borehamwood, created an app idea Rocket Code! which made it to the finals in the Information category of the awards. The team spent months working on the app which is a space adventure game where the user must learn to code in order to advance.Read More

A new college specialising in training young people for the film and television industry has been given backing by the Government.
The planned Elstree University Technical College (UTC), which will be based in Borehamwood, will open in the next two years.
Elstree UTC will focus on teaching students aged 14 to 19 skills in electronic engineering and digital technologies, as well as entertainment technologies and crafts.Read More
