From time-to-time and as necessary, polices and procedures may need to be amended or changed. We like to consult with our, students, families and stakeholder communities on these matters. For example, previous consultations have included the development of our industry appropriate dress code, and in 2016/17, we slightly amended our school day.

Proposed adjustment to our year 10 PAN (published admissions number)
We are writing to inform you of our intention to reduce our PAN (Published Admissions Number) in Year 10 from 120 students to 100 students. This would be in effect from September 2019. This will not affect any student already on our college role. This amendment only affects families applying for a place in September 2019 or later.
Over the last 3 years, we have been consistently receiving around 100 applications for year 10 places, however our current PAN is 120 which means that we leave some year 10 places unfilled whilst over subscribing in year 12. This can lead to under or over staffing in some areas. We want to change our PAN to better reflect the number of applications we have been receiving because this allows us to better structure our curriculum model to match the specialist requirements of our incoming students and to potentially admit more students at post 16 where demand is higher.
