Re: Red Nose Day - wear an item of red clothing (24th March 2017)

Dear Parent/Carer,

Re: Red Nose Day - wear an item of red clothing (24th March 2017)

I am writing to inform you of a further charity event taking place this Friday 24th March at Elstree UTC. The event is Red Nose Day and all money raised will be used to help those less fortunate than ourselves, within the UK and around the world.

This year there are five issues which all proceeds will specifically focus on, including: Immunisation, Mental Health, Vulnerable Young People, Domestic Violence and Fighting Malaria. Students are welcome to wear items of red clothing which include: trainers, T-shirts, Jeans, dresses, skirts, red noses etc. It is not a non-uniform day to wear any clothing of any colour. The idea is to keep the focus on ‘Red’ as this is the theme for the day. Students can also accessorise with red noses which will be available to purchase from reception on the day.

Please ensure your son/daughter brings £1 in on the day to support this worthy cause. We will continue to raise awareness and fundraise for a variety of charities throughout the year. We thank you for your continued support in all these events.

Yours Faithfully,

Desrae Le Roux, Vice Principal
Elstree University Technical College
